Children from Year 2 to Year 6 will be sitting national tests from 2nd – 9th May. Our timetable is here:
Wednesday 2nd May – Reading Test
Thursday 3rd May – Maths Procedural Test
Friday 4th May – Maths Reasoning Test
Any children who are absent or unwell on the day of the test can do the test up to Wednesday 9th May.
We have been preparing for the tests (informally) already in our classes and will be learning more testing techniques after the Easter holidays (formal procedures).
However if you wish for some revision for your child you can download it from HWB (This can be found via Google)
Steps to example questions
– Go to hwb
– Type in the search bar e.g. year 3 reasoning tests (or reading, procedural test).
– Click on the title/ link e.g. Year 3 reasoning tests.
– Press LAUNCH
– Scroll to the bottom of the page and press the next arrow
– Then you will find a lot of PDF files with example material inside them for your child to practice.
We will also continue to revise using some of these sample materials after the Easter holidays.
